About Traditions at the Glen Golf and FootGolf Courses
Masterfully designed by John Van Kleek in 1937, Traditions’ 4-Star 18-hole championship golf course is set on rolling hills along a wooded glen with magnificent views overlooking the Susquehanna River. Tree lined fairways and meticulously groomed greens make our course a favorite among local players, golf members, and visitors to the Greater Binghamton area. Warm up before your round on our irons only practice range and putting greens or come out and work on your game.
Traditions at the Glen is a resort and semi-private golf course that is open to public play, resort play, and offers golf membership opportunities. Corporate golf tournaments and organized golf outings have an ideal setting with full service facilities and amenities at Traditions at the Glen. The Glen View Tent located a short distance from Hole 1 accommodates up to 400 guests for dining, has outdoor features including a fire pit and waterfalls. Smaller groups may opt for other event spaces including our Ballroom, Valley View Tent, or the Spalding Room.
Our professional staff is available to help you plan every detail of your event. From family reunions to charity events our staff will help you coordinate teams, organize contests, and provide food and beverage menu packages that promote the ultimate golf and resort experience.
Lessons, Club Repair, and Club Fitting
Visit our PGA Class A Director of Golf, Naomi Nesenoff, for a swing tune up or to make great improvements to your golf game. She offers a wide variety of golf lessons and golf clinics to cater to the golfers’ needs. Some events Naomi enjoys teaching are ‘Get Golf Ready Clinics’, junior golf clinics, and team building activities.
Our Director of Golf also offers club fittings utilizing state of the art ES14 club fitting technology.
Pro Shop/Bogey’s Bar
Our pro shop is stocked with the finest merchandise ranging from golf apparel to golf equipment from well known brands such as Greg Norman, Puma, Titleist, and Cobra Golf Clubs. Our Director of Golf takes pride in the diverse selection of merchandise and the great deals she can offer the members and guests. Naomi received the 2016 Resort Merchandiser of the Year Award from the CNY PGA Section.
Bogeys Bar at Traditions’ Pro Shop offers a full service bar and bar menu during the golf season. There is a halfway house on the golf course we call the ‘Sugar Shack’ that you are able to visit from at least six golf holes.

The Merchandiser of the Year Award is designed to recognize a PGA Professional for exemplary skills as merchandisers in the promotion of golf. This award is given for excellence in golf shop operations and are based on the following: merchandising ability and techniques, inventory levels and turn rate, shop display, attention to detail, credit rating within the industry and overall credit rating, member in good standing, community involvement, and involvement in the development of data and statistics, and materials or programs used either Sectionally or Nationally on club relations and employment activities.
